But im afraid i must go I must leave through the nose Of this terrible prose
For the world is a sham A most wonderful lie I'm ashamed that it died
For my belly is full Of some terrible things That believe they are kings
I have had quite a few Of those risque delights That may leave us with frights

I think im going a bit mad. Ive come back to Dronfield for a few days so i dont just sit there watching Scrubs or the Golf for 3 days running in our stupid living room. Whether coming back to Dronfield will actually help o not id debateable, but at least the leccy wont run out halfway through Without a Trace. I seem to be permanently exhausted yet unable to sleep properly. Im going to have another go. Night kids |

| | Brad Sucks | ] | A lot has happened in the past few weeks. My life has changed quite considerably without me reeeaally doing anything. heh. I am now free from the confines of full time education, free to spread my wings and fly, or, more likely, to topple and fall in a heap. I like heaps. Anyway, i did all my work in like, a 3 week strecth, as per usual, and it actually came out really well. im considering entering the design section of magazine journalism, because i seem to have developed quite a talent for Quark, but im not sure if thats still the industry standard. Still, if i can learn that through casual use, I can learn anything!
I lost a few friends and gained a couple too. A number of people reeeaally let me down with their cowardice and selfish nature, but while it still really grates on me, it makes you realise that people who can barely muster the balls to do and say things to your face are barely worth the effort in the long run, so at least i dont have to waste energy on them anymore!
The fucking World Cup has started. Boredom is banished for a month. Nothing to do today? Watch the World Cup! I havent missed a match yet, such is the bonus of having a job whereby essentially i get paid to watch the matches and watching them is actively encouraged due to 'product knowledge' and all that.
Ive been playing a bit of City of Villains recently. Its a fucking brillianr game and has released my inner geek. Ive always loved comics but never really had the money or the Obsessive compulsive personality to pursue the collection of them. Ill never be a collector of anything because im too scatterbrained, but hey ... i forget my initial point.
I think im gonna work at Hills all summer, 20/25 hours a week, get some money then go somewhere nice and new and shiny. Thats the plan. And of course, hopefully, pursue my travel book idea next year! But thats a pipedream right now ... but we'll see.
Love and kisses Cornelius Talmidge xx |

I haven't put a bloody penny on any of them, and shes 120 quid up! If the next couple win, im demanding a share of the winnings.... |

In terms of occupation and 'work', I always excel and am highly employable. In terms of doing anything else I have actually mastered the art of procrastination. Its almost as if i force myself to be temporarily addicted to something else so i continually do that instead, be it playing poker, Pro Evo, reading, whatever ...
I know EVERYONE writes about how they procrastinate and cant work and oooh im avoiding this and avoiding that but fuck, its actually getting disruptive towards how i live my life. Argh |

Really? Yes. Ok, Sunday, better? Much. Good I propose we live in a world where money doesn't mean anything and instead everyone gets everything for free and stuff. Hows that sound? Missed out on a number of potentially marvelous things over the past few days, due to the lack of money and the rubbishness of people. Combined, its a potent force. Potent enough to ruin your weekend? Oh, i'd say so. That sucks. Doesn't it just? Was that rhetorical? Was THAT rhetorical? Yes. In that case, forget I asked. Deal Does being happy directly influence your chances of becoming happier still? I think it does. I find it depressing that you can convince yourself you're not happy when things are generally ok. Is that ironic? I don't know, I never professed to be proficient in irony. That's ok then. Yes it is. Glad we had this chat |

| | Buck 65 | ] | You know what the worst thing about life is? That you meet too many people. I know a hell of a lot of great people, but theres also a hell of a lot I don't know. Granted, I'm a cynical fuck and if pushed, would say that the majority of the general public are fuckwits i couldn't give two hoots about. But it annoys me that those that I do, I can't possibly get to know well enough. I seem to spend a lot of my time with people I like, but only see them through circumstance, and a lot of people I'd love to actually share experiences with I don't see because of circumstance.
This has sort of come about due to my impending retreat from education, and it is a retreat, I'm not goingout all guns blazing, hell, the white flag is up and if i wasn;t so tired of it all I'd be waving it. We had our Uni ball the other night. It was ace. Everyone was dressed up to the nines and we all just got wasted and enjoyed ourselves. Granted, remembering people in this sort of sphere leads to rose tinted views of their actual personalities, yet there are 5, 6, maybe even a few more people at Uni that I really could have become good friends with. Same goes for other walks of life. People like Mike, Gem and various other members of the Leeds clan, as well as many other people, I don't get to see nearly enough. Thanks to real life getting in the way. I know that you have different stages of life, people come, people go, I guess I just want to have my cake and eat it too. Maybe I'm not such a bastard after all
Anyway, as per, there's some cracking photos from that night, a few of which can be found on the last page of this weblink : http://www.ballphotographers.com/galleries.htm (Its Sheffield 5187 by the way). You can tell that we got drunker .....
Anyway, im off to eat fish and chips in my pyjamas. I'm still recovering .... |

Wouldn't it be great if, in Darts, it was like Wrestling and there were match ups and rivalries and stuff and the two darts leagues were sworn enemies and when people were taking a shot and stuff, you could get rivals running down the aisle at the back and elbow dropping them just as they go for the double top, then knocking the ref out and the commentator going mental and smacking each other over the head with metal chairs while still trying to throw darts at the board .... amazing |

| | As Friends Rust | ] | I haven't updated this in ages. There's a lot of things I haven't done in ages. Like .... eat rusks. Anyway, I got Pro Evo 5 today, so I might turn this into my Pro Evo diary. Ha. Good things :
Players shield the ball like it was their last meal. They LOVE the shielding BOOOOOM! shots are much more ffective. First timers from 30 yards literally sizzle through the air if you've hit it right Ronaldinhos 'flip flap' move is too much fun. Too much in that i cant stop doing it and losing the chuffing ball... Its PHYSICAL. The last game was too 'stylised' in dribbling, tackling etc. This time, crunching tackles actually crunch, sprinting into a player and tripping him up WILL concede a free kick and headers connect like wrecking balls. BOOOOM! The advantage rule is perfect. I havent seen a single 'fucking hell ref, i was clean through on goal! and you are no longer entitled 20 minutes to lose the advantage before being brought back for the free kick. The ref gets in the way. Annoying, but real! YES! Good goals are easier to score, but easy goals are IMPOSSIBLE. Its now become markedly more difficult to do the old' through ball down the wing, three tap cross into the box, side foot into the net' goal, and my usual formation, which takes full advantage of roaming wingers, is finding very little space. I've had to reasses my tactics. Long passes can actually be PINGED. On 4, a long pass would be a hopeful punt, too high, too hard, towards a player who would undoubtedly let it bounce 4 times before leaving a defender to nick it from his forehead. Now, they sail across the pitch, onto the waiting teammates chest. Players actually run onto balls. Before, a chipped through ball or a hopeful lofted punt up field would result in your player slowing down and waiting while it bounced and dropped, or drubbing it 6 yards out of touch in time for a the defence to clean up, but now, players actually nod balls on, use their chests and can control the ball in mid air, FINALLY! No more 'hes through on goal! the balls bounced, hes watching it, hes got to bring it down, surely, its bounced again....hes scuffed it, oh fuck the keepers come out. bollocks'
More later... probably |

Wouldnt it be great if you could just leave things, do other things, come back and the things you left would be just as awesome as when you lef tthem? It doesnt work like that does it? Or can it? Does it not work like that because you dont think it does therefore you get tired of waiting so destroy it, creating some sort of self fulfilling prophecy? Ive been watching this film too much. haha "but my lips hurt real bad" The answer to 'whats your favourite pawed animal?' is not an eel. however, the answer to 'whats your favourite porn animal?' maybe These are the things I have learnt today. What do you think my weakness is?
Its something you never actually say to people so i ask you, without being too harsh, to answer the question in relation to me! I personally would agree with the person who sent me the quiz, who said "you let something get the best of you, when u should be in control" which, to certain extents, is true, though id modify to say that it only happens when my priorities become skewed and i neglect other things for the thing that i cant control. Id also say that i sometimes dont know where the line is (but not in a malicious way) and that i leave far too many things to the last minute. So yeh, answer it, and ill reply to you with yours :P haha .... maybe |

Its been a funny few days! heres some random thoughts
- Last night was just ... odd! DJ'ing at the Casbah again, but as Wednesday had won (Fucking come on!!!!!!!) there was a considerable amount of sorta football lager louts in. So it was an odd crowd. Then Follet turned up for some DJ'ing, with some female acquaintances, one of whom he appears to be trying to 'get it on with'. One of her friends, who ive gotta admit was pretty hot, gave me her number because she was doing music tech or something and she wanted to come down and DJ with me one monday night. She was clearly quite pissed and it was all very random. I also kept playing random songs back to back, and interspersing the change of songs with 20 second bursts of thrash ala Zombie Apocalpyse. I laughed anyway....
- As I get free drinks at Casbaaaaah, i was a bit pissed when i got home. I popped up to see Emma and she was with Charlotte and Rachel, having a joint like. So i added to my drunk state with some weed, which made me act like a bit of a tit. I said some stupid things which made me laugh at the time but make me feel like an idiot now! haha. Rachel also wapped out her tarot cards (She's been doin em for yeeeaaarrs apparently!) and told me some stuff which was very interesting. Kinda stuff i already knew but didnt really want to accept , in a way. Im not entirely sure how much i take out of Tarot but, possibly inevitably, what was said resonated quite heavily with me over some things. But i dunno ... it was interesting if nothing else. and i didnt go to bed til it was light again. which is always weird
- Two pretty interesting tv moments tonight. Stalking Pete Doherty. Which showed one nutcase film maker stalking the idiot savant that is pete doherty til the kid clearly snapped and lamped him one. This 'film maker' clearly had mental problems, in fact, he was bi polar, and it was very disturbing to see first hand someone conjure up this almost sociopathic attachment to a man he really didn't know. then FAQ U was on, which was wank last week, but was amazing tonight cus the dude from Peep Show was presenting and it turns out he's actually the funniest man alive without being in character.
- I got the best postcard ever, with Squee on it and all sorts. Amazing
- The new System of a Down album is staggering! Its fucking nuts, all over the place, and is one of the best albums ive heard in ages, whether it catches my attention for an extended time span remains to be seen, but right now i literally cant stop listening to it.
- I have little else to say really. Awesome!
